Wednesday, July 13, 2022 - Tasted at a wine dinner in NYC @ Marta. This still seems pretty young but promising aromatics of pine tree, dark plum, tar, smoke, minerality, some crushed violets, overall pretty layered and deep. It‘s pretty full-bodied, almost creamy in texture, has medium-high tannin that is very good quality and medium-high acidity providing freshness. Good length. A very good Rocche that might profit from another few years in bottle. Lovely.
