Black cherry, black currant, loamy soil, dark chocolate and espresso grounds.
The tannins are still grippy on the 2nd day, with adequate acidity to keep the full-bodied wine from being too generous or fluffy. The finish is nice, not overly long but interesting and with good complexity. Drying and meaty on the finish.
Drink through 2025+. Delicious.
