Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 2009 Burgundy Tasting (Park Hyatt - Washington, DC): My first sauvignon blanc from Burgundy! Quite impressive too. Good aromatics of fresh white flowers, grapefruit and other citrus. Didn't have the intensity of NZ SB, but was closer to the elegant sanceres of the Loire. Very surprising wine, and for $7, just a heck of a deal.
