Tuesday, June 28, 2011 - So I decided to let my wife score this one. I had previous experience with the earlier bottles and I did not want that to taint the tasting. So here you go per Cheryl:deep purple color with pink highlights. Nose: dominant alcohol. Taste: cherries and tobacco. final score: 87
Day 3 update from me. Dramatically better. The prunes from the early bottles are almost gone. Nice spice, raisins, the alcohol is tamer. Really deep, big fruit, concentrated. Maybe a little longer cellar time will mellow this one out.
