Sunday, October 18, 2009 - Knightsbridge's Burgundy Tasting (Knightsbridge, Northbrook IL): nose: exotic and tart nose filled with asian and jerk spices, dark red cherries, blackberries, earth, and some bits of brown spices too with a touch of sour berries. Good depth and robust on the nose and a bit tight too

taste: youthful and powerful with big tannins and medium+ acidity along with rich tones of dark berries, exotic spices, dark red cherries, and bits of earth tones

overall: very young and needs a good amount of time. Powerful and very rich, this could be a real interesting clos vougeot in a good 8-10 years. The bigness isn't over the top as it still retains a burgundy sensibility to it, but being a amped up version
