Saturday, October 29, 2016 - Rule the Rhone; 10/27/2016-11/3/2016 (Northern & Southern Rhone): Tasted side by side with the 2007 which meant different winemakers and very different growing seasons. This wine was ready for business almost immediately. Bright red fruits, boysenberry, hints of pepper, but mostly just a very what you see is what you get wine. We drank over the course of prob 1.5 hours and while the 2007 went all over the map, this was very similar on the last sip as the first. Quite enjoyable.
