Friday, November 12, 2021 - Popped and poured. Tight for a few minutes, then opened up quickly. Nose was phenomenal - blueberries and fruit forward, but also intense and not imbalanced.... just decadent and similar to the first time we tried it (@ Alinea in Residence Oct '20). On the palate, tons of dark red and black fruit, brown sugar/honey, earthy flavors, beautiful obscured tannin. Later glasses we poured (couple hours) were even better. This is a wine that should have a long life ahead of it. (99 nose, 97 palate).
