Friday, July 8, 2011 - France 2011 - Côte d'Or; 7/8/2011-7/13/2011 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. This has a gorgeous nose. Complex aromas of citrus, orchard fruit with floral and herbaceous notes. On the palate it enters big, round and rich with flavours of dried lemon and nuts then finishes fresh with a good dose of lemon lingering for a solid 30 seconds. There are subtle hints of honey and oak coming through on the palate as well. This is a complex and interesting wine. Already drinking great now and will be fun to follow its development over 5-10 years. Excellent. 92+
