Friday, February 1, 2013 - Garnet core with ruby edge; pretty nose, flavor reminded me of sucking on a nickel; palate is complex with cranberry, sour cherry , slight confected fruit, iron, sauvage, good Gevrey richness; mouthfilling and very satisfying. You definitely get the old vine complexity in this bottle compared to the regular village bottling.
