Saturday, June 9, 2012 - Montalcino visit June 2012; 6/8/2012-6/10/2012 (Montalcino): A typical Lisini Brunello with some excellent aging potential, but already quite nice to drink now:
Ruby color. Full aromas of blackcurrant and cherry with some hints of licorice and leather. Full bodied on the palate with chewy smooth tannins, fresh acidity and balanced fruit. The finish is long and remains fresh throughout. Its youthful and accessible, but I think you will be rewarded with more complexity if you leave it in the cellar for 5 years or more. Drink now - 2026+
