Friday, September 15, 2017 - Disgorged 3/2017 (50% Chard, 50% Pinot Noir, Dosage 6 gr, 60% 2014 & 40% 2013) As a follow up to previous note - served much closer to room temp - straight from wine fridge, but no ice bucket this time and much, much better and more expressive. Loads more complexity than when chilled, bread dough and lemon on nose - on palate some rich yeasty flavors coexisting with the tart acidity and fine mousse - really delightful for the price. Chartogne-Taillet is just crushing it with delicious and complex cuvees that don't bust the budget.
