Friday, January 23, 2015 - Opened at Anvil for birthday dinner. Allred's note pretty well sums this up. We knew going in that this may have been undrinkable. I wouldn't go quite that far, but I wouldn't go back to the bottle for more either. This was all about having a birth-year wine to open for the occasion. In that regard, it didn't disappoint, and was lovely in my mind. I will say it tasted better than it smelled. I do have one bottle left that will be opened for wife's birthday in December. No score, but to me it would be the equivalent to a price tag of priceless.
