The palate was a little disappointing after the boquet: monodimensional and thrown off by a troubling sweetness and some perceived a slight sparkle, like a referment started up in the bottle. The jury is still out on the long term. Initially this wine did not agree with me, but after one day it seems to have shed its sweet mouth feel. The tannins and acid are still quite present. Will lay down a few bottles to see how it ages.
