Friday, March 4, 2022 - The 1998 had a bright mid depth gold colour, a developed nose with an intriguing hint of piquancy. Full bodied with developed citrus flavours matched with some delicious bitter notes described by some as burnt caramel but as a positive contribution to the complexity of the palate. The persistent and acid fresh finish showed no sign of drying out. Wine of the day 19.5
