Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - 2010 Bordeaux UGC Chicago (The Drake Hotel, Chicago IL): Nose: Nice and open-knit nose of crushed rocks, cedar, tobacco, dark red fruits, and dark red cherries.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium acidity and some chewy tannins. Balanced with tones of cedar, crushed rocks, dark red cherries, and some pipe tobacco.
Overall: The tannins aren't as oppressive as with other 2010s. This seems more of a candidate
for mid-term aging.
