Saturday, May 28, 2011 - Memorial Day weekend tasting (Willamette Valley/Ribbon Ridge, Oregon): Nice earth, and spicy red fruits on the nose. Woodsiness on the palate, with an interesting egg white component; this is creamy in flavor and texture, with nice berry soup, mild spice, and slightly grippy tannins. More spice on thee finish, with impressive structure. This is an incredible value, considering the price of their Coattails wine. 90+
