Pretty amazing entry level pinot. Wonderful nose of a hint of smoke, strawberry, pear, and summer while the mouth is full bodied with soft tannins and flavors of cherry, tobacco, lemon.

Really fantastic wine - night one, after an hour plus decant, drank very light.... round red fruits, little spice and some forest floor. A bit green, but pleasant and complimentary to the wines other qualities. Night two it was much heavier, and I enjoyed it more - not sure where it came from given the notes on night one, but it became richer with darker fruit and mocha notes. The experience is made even better for the price. Look this one up.

Memorial Day weekend tasting (Willamette Valley/Ribbon Ridge, Oregon): Nice earth, and spicy red fruits on the nose. Woodsiness on the palate, with an interesting egg white component; this is creamy in flavor and texture, with nice berry soup, mild spice, and slightly grippy tannins. More spice on thee finish, with impressive structure. This is an incredible value, considering the price of their Coattails wine. 90+

Nose lingers with strawberries, hints of anise, and tobacco. Robust but smooth taste with stone fruit and cherries. Amazing pqr.
