Thursday, July 4, 2019 - Popped and poured through a powered aerator and consumed over several hours, including while watching fireworks. Deep eggplant purple. Has a nose with that initial blast of blueberry that I've come to enjoy with Buccella cabs. Overall nose and taste of blueberries, dark plum, cedar and with hints of vanilla. Smooth. Well integrated tannins. Still some pretty high acidity. Excellent wine but a little less powerful and flavorful than other vintages I've tasted.
