Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Hendry is one of my favorite “go to wines” for a trip to a restaurant. This was a beautiful dark raspberry with blackberry, raspberry and spice on the nose. I decanted it for an hour before leaving for the restaurant. Mid palate was full of more dark fruit with a little cedar and pepper. It was nicely balanced with good tannins on the tongue. It had a long finish leaving you wanting another glass.
