Saturday, April 18, 2020 - Perfect Chinon nose - dusty green pepper, just exceptional (if you like dusty green pepper.). Bright magenta wine, with no sign of aging. Gorgeous coloring. Light-bodied mouth feel belies a wine that is a superb balance of tannins and acid - while the tannins are drying the acid is flooding. Remarkable. Bright tart pie cherry. The bell pepper remains but is subtle. The acid carries a medium-long finish that clamps down, releases, softens and fades away. Exceptional wine.
