There was some impression of RS, demi-like but with proper chill and what seemed more important, was good air, this really evolved into fantastic chenin. Going to find more, as having 2-3 more bottles of this on hand is going to work just fine.

5/14/2014 9:13:00 AM - I always enjoy your Chidaine notes. This came during the week that my extra three bottles of 2010 Habert arrived - made me quite happy!

Looks like you have the Grezeaux in your photo. I saw some 2011 of that recently but passed on it. I can still get it. How would you compare that to the '11 Boissee?

5/15/2014 6:08:00 PM - I might pass on the 11 Grezeaux. I didn't have a great experience with it and it seems that others here agree. I'm hoping they come around in time. Buy all the 09 and 10 you can find!

The Grez is everything I love about Baudry - lots of Loire funk (dirt, veggies) but enough red fruit to make it gulpable and delicious. Amazing texture. I think the Boisee is much more of a vin de garde and tougher to enjoy in its youth. (Although I've heard the 11s are approachable now - still waiting to ship my 11s.)
