Wednesday, March 29, 2006 - Opened this last night after a rather disappointing Barolo (Damilano '01). Bouquet is sweet with aromas of fruit and cherries. The real pleasure is in the taste, an almost unreal silky mouthfeel with endless amounts of fruit and a long long finish. Mellow tannins with amazing integration and structure. An excellent wine even by itself!
