Sunday, March 5, 2023 - Thankfully showing much better than the barbaresco. This had a lot of life to it. I am assuming it was probably some of the new oak treatment which seems to keep wines alive and bright and more energetic once it has time to integrate (although I don’t know - perhaps just because of the warm vintage?). This was very alive and intense and deep. Drinking nicely now but with plenty of time left.
