The nose hits you with a wallop of cherry fruit and mocha latte. Ripe and plush palate - a touch new world that has a good bit of tannin remaining on the finish. A good mouthful of wine that right now is lacking nuance. Maybe time will do it good though I am worried that the green on the finish may win out. (88++?)

Progress day 2. Raspberry comes to the fore. Less green on the finish. Maybe it just needs time.
