Sunday, July 12, 2020 - Unapologetic in its delivery; very assertive flavors; chamomile, honey, lemon oils, ginger, ripe peaches that introduce very weighty, rich and complex flavors in the mouth. Great mid palate creaminess along side appropriate acidity (even in this vintage). The bit of warmth on the finish may not be everyone’s style but this is undeniably great in my estimation. Not quite the class of the FX Pichler Kellerberg ‘07 tasted a handful of years back but “wow” on this.
