Saturday, October 31, 2015 - HDH Bordeaux Auction; 10/30/2015-10/31/2015 (Chicago, IL): This is a very lush and big wine, with some juicy black fruits on the nose. Plums, slightly roasted and very dark and on the nose and palate. There's a slight bit of stewedness as well. Not over the top and surprisingly restrained, but to be honest, I think that this just needs a lot more air and time. Lovely density and a thick texture that can only be thanks to old vines.
