Friday, December 9, 2022 - Decanted three hours. Dark garnet color with some bricking. Potent nose of raspberries and cherries, with forest floor as well. Medium acidity, chalky tannins, complex palate with dark cherries, red currants, forest floor, cocoa - well layered flavors that end in a medium long finish that shows white pepper notes and oak. Very good, mature Burgundy wine that paired greatly with pan-roasted duck.
