Wednesday, November 21, 2018 - Tasted at the Port with Palmer CEO Thomas Duroux.
A real stunner 14 yrs young. So much finesse and power on this one, swaying back and forth between floral notes and forest floor. The tannins were remarkably present but not surprising given the vintage and confirmation of vineyard conditions and production controls in the winery.
Sampled against the 2008, very similar but later was slightly softer and less tannic.
