Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Chilled it down pretty good then pulled the cork. First of two bottles that I bought in 2012. Chablis-like nose of crushed rock and sea air. Good dollop of fruit in the core, that gets a little waxy so while it might have some chardonnay or chenin qualities, the texture rings a bit heavier. Mandarin orange, lemongrass, peach, lemon rind and yellow delicious apple. With these descriptors, it's why I offer that the wine could go a few directions if tasted blind. The texture is fatter here so less lean than I would typically like but enough acid to brighten up the weight.
