Wednesday, November 12, 2014 - Mike Grammer Comes to Town - KS version (Ripple Restaurant in DC): This is not unlike drinking the 08 Dauvissat Clos. I can imagine this would have showed a lot better if decanted for a couple of hours over a leisurely dinner. A tight nose revealing only a hint of fruit, lemon curd, pear, smoke, sesame/toast, white flowers, saline and mineral. Tightly coiled, bright acidity, mineral and a bit too tense finish. It opened up a bit with air, displaying a bit more generous fruits. I need to open one at home and drink over two nights. You must decant!
