Sunday, June 30, 2013 - Moderate-plus viscosity leaves legs slowly falling down the glass to the dark ruby colored wine below that has shows day bright reflection and medium-plus concentration.

After 2 hour decant aromas of blackberries, cherry pie, blueberries, clove and vanilla upfront with cedar, chocolate, caramelized oak, and rose petals on the nose as well with hints of creme anglaise.
The full bodied palate has a silky texture with fine grained, moderate tannins and balanced acidity. Flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, oak, and clove spice are met with vanilla bean, chocolate ganache and french vanilla ice cream that push through a dense mid palate and onto the lingering finish that is moderate-plus in both intensity and length and lingering on notes of spice cake.
