Wednesday, December 16, 2020 - An interesting showing that was unlike my first smoke show bottle from the six-pack in 2019. The nose seemed to have some gas hanging above it and clouding the beautiful dark and spicy red and black cherry, although that did eventually blow off. A dark and stormy showing with way more sous bois than I expected. Deep and rich black fruit with some spice. Palate doesn't synch up to the nose and delivers that clean, pure, and concentrated fruit. Would be 94 but for that weird gas on the nose at the start.
