90 Points

Monday, November 23, 2015 - Weekly tasting group #193; some Bordeaux (@ My place): Beautiful, complex and luxurious bouquet with cassis, cedar, tobacco, earth and autumn impressions as well as some pleasant barnyard. On the palate a firm amount of red fruits, some licorice and spiciness. Some bell pepper. Firm acidity and tannin with still a good bite. The wine is mature and disappoints a bit on the palate. Maybe another two years of cellaring will do good, but I am not sure. I have one more bottle tucked away for 2017, so there will be a final follow up.
