Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - Morel Dinner with Big Red & White Burgs and Champagne (L'Etoille du Nord, Bayport, MN): Light gold color. Looking back, my note is really similar to the previous time I had this. Drank 1 glass over an hour. Fantastic nose, very Dom like, earthy, with plenty of toasted yeastiness citrus and mineral and a touch of almond. The palate shows off its finesse, good depth, but fairly elegant, rich, full bodied, pear, toast, roasted nuts, long finish. Fantastic. 93+ to 94pts.
