Friday, September 19, 2014 - Decanted and drank over 4 hours.
This is very well made, super modern style Syrah.
Huge fruit, dark and brooding but it isn't messy and stewed like some others of this style. Still this just isn't so representative of Syrah but good when you want this style of wine - whether Syrah or Cab or a blend of some sort. Not great QPR.

9/19/2014 9:22:00 PM - I have yet to drink any of my Lillian. Thanks for the note. I will continue to let them age and not buy anymore. I enjoy a nice $25 PN or three for the same money. I really do like Maggies's PN which I will occasionally buy instead. Just for old times sake, I may buy a single this year instead of a 3 pack to keep the vertical going.

I do love her whole program and what she is trying to do but just not good QPR...also no acidity so hard with food ( a meal itself!)...regular label at $70 is still hard to truly warrant but better than the blue label or gold I think is what it is now.
