Thursday, January 10, 2019 - Tasted at a Nickel & Nickel dinner. This was paired with blue cheese and honey crisp apple.
Golden color.
Nose offers honey and a hint of lychee.
Quite thick and sweet. Needed the blue cheese to cut the rich and sweetness of the wine.
Has some notes of botrytis which adds a little character but the overall impression is that this is too sweet for my palate.
