Friday, May 20, 2005 - Pretty decent wine. Blue/ruby color, medium extraction. Nose was fairly rich, with dark, black fruit, leather, and bits of anise. The palate was a bit of a letdown, especially considering I remember this being a much better wine 18 months ago. Attack mirrored the nose in flavors, but there was almost no mid-palate save some grapey flavors, and the finish kind of disappeared before it got going. 88 might be generous...
