Saturday, August 18, 2012 - Followed over two days. Deep purple in color. Black/blue fruit, notes of coffee, iron and anise. Very smooth; tannins well integrated at this stage. Much more reserved than some of Morgan's other cuvees which I quite like stylewise. My biggest issue with this is that I was hoping for more concentration of flavor. Other than that, a really nice wine. This definitely opens up over time so give this a good decant.
