Thursday, December 27, 2012 - Lovely Pontet Canet which has a good amount of time to go. Dark olives, black cherries and dried hrbs are all there on the nose and palate. Tannins ripe but not fully resolved at this point in its evolution. Oak has been well managed and ties it all together. Opened for about 4 hours prior to Christmas luch and I think this really helped it. Really enjoyed this one.
