Wednesday, June 5, 2013 - May try decanting the other bottle, but this wine was so much fun to keep tasting as it was allowed to breathe in the bottle and be swirled in the glass. The aroma was barnyardy, more like the floor of the barnyard, almost a manure quality. Got to watch people smell the wine, notice that the wine's color did show some of its age, then apprehensively taste it. There was still a lot of sweet berry flavors, much to their relief. As the wine opened at about halfway through the bottle, the tannins did emerge. Drink now.
