Monday, December 30, 2013 - Deep, dark color; candied dark cherries, berries and a touch of raspberries show through with a bit of licorice mixed with some toasty oak. Dense upon entry, then crunchy and fresh in the middle revealing dense, dark pinot fruit mixed with florals tones. Good fruit overall but a bit oaky. Not showing its texture today but should age pretty well. 89+
