Monday, March 28, 2022 - Drunk in a michelin star restaurant, in the south of France. Bought en primeur and stored in the same cellar for 30 years. Lovely nose, with hints of brett though. Scents of forest, leather, fur and hay, as well as liquorice, smoke and truffle. Very elegant mouthfeel, rounded and coated with smooth and refined tanins, very balanced and focused. Long, rich and complex. To be fair I was expecting a little more from such a legendary wine, but it was nevertheless objectively delicious.
