Friday, April 12, 2013 - At $14, this is a good wine. It seems to have many things in common with other wines that I've had that are imported by Kermit Lynch - medium bodied, or perhaps better described as light for many palates, old world in style with some earthiness, pure without silly amount of oak (this one is actually aged in stainless steel), and low in alcohol at 13%. This reminds me of some Cru Beaujolais. One thing that stops from re-buying this is the acidity level, which is a bit too high for my taste, but that shouldn't be a problem if you enjoy this with tomato based Italian dishes.
(55% Barbera, 20% Bonarda, 15% Freisa, and 10% Dolcetto)
