Kicking myself for not buying more. At peak. Tannins have smoothed completely. Luscious nose of wild rose. Crisp and refreshing. Great with a slight chill on it, too.

Ruby red with aromas of red fruit. It was slightly tart with medium acidity....clean and bright. It was very straight forward and maybe needs to warm up to open.

At $14, this is a good wine. It seems to have many things in common with other wines that I've had that are imported by Kermit Lynch - medium bodied, or perhaps better described as light for many palates, old world in style with some earthiness, pure without silly amount of oak (this one is actually aged in stainless steel), and low in alcohol at 13%. This reminds me of some Cru Beaujolais. One thing that stops from re-buying this is the acidity level, which is a bit too high for my taste, but that shouldn't be a problem if you enjoy this with tomato based Italian dishes.
(55% Barbera, 20% Bonarda, 15% Freisa, and 10% Dolcetto)

As light and simple as the price would suggest, but with enough personality to make drinking fun. Got it on sale, so it's an especially good value to me.

Enticing aroma. Strawberries and leather. Lite bodied. Fruit and nice constrained acidity. Great wine. Everyday drinker, but has some complexity. Paired well with pizza.

Pasta Bolgnese throwdown at Wolffe's (Coral Gables, FL): This blend of Piedmontese varietals is tannic and extra dy with a medium body and short finish. Better as a second to food, not enjoyable on its own.

We had it with a kale and sausage soup (similar to a minestrone) and it was more balanced and less acidic.

Nice balanced red easy sipper with very modest oak, developed and not rustic. Moderate body and tannin.
