This has developed a lot in two years starting to show a bit more balsamico/VA. Decadent dark fruits, licorice, balsamico, dark spices and dry flowers. Excellent concentration, warm and rich palate, intense black fruit driven palate impression, bright acidity, masked tannins due to generous fruits and very long finish that ends with a balsamic note. Not as pure but significantly richer. A couple tasters dislike the VA/balsamico note but I thought it added complexity.
