Sunday, December 27, 2015 - Decanted, tasted over 3 hrs and Day 2; bottle from secondary market
-nearly opaque med dark red with minimal bricking
-plum cassis oak and a touch of earthy mature elements
-med acidity, med+ weight and depth, faint remnants of red fruits lie underneath sweet tobacco and gentle earthiness, med- tannic structure on the moderately complex and long finish with traces of heat/oak/bitter; better on Day 2
-in a good place with some maturity peeking through but enough depth and structure to support additional aging for 5-10 years
