Saturday, November 7, 2015 - 2015 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/3/2015-11/9/2015 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Incredibly expressive youthful nose displaying cool but perfectly ripe red and black fruits, strawberry and rhubarb tart, spicy spices, black tea, Vosne spices, a hint of stem and raw porcini. Beautiful balance, freshness and purity, formidable structure, bright acidity and sweet tannins and incredibly long finish. Very similar to the 02 but more expressive and a bit more ready. Another great La Tache that needs another ten years to reach the first stage of peak.
