Wednesday, September 23, 2015 - Unscrewed & poured at cellar temp. A unique field blend, one which is likely completely different from the neighboring producer, which is why I pick up a GS whenever I see one on the shelf. Fleshy fruit & a healthy acid base walk in harmony here. Medium bodied and by turns, both round and crisp. Layers of spicy fresh fruit kept bright with that acidity.
Power resides behind the bright fruit & this is a wine of finesse. The complexity emerges with our red beans & rice. Very good.
