Darker fruit on the nose, this seems to be where we start crossing the line from red to black (it turns out that the tasting was ordered along the same lines as one I did a year and a half ago). Perhaps a bit more earthiness here, I really like this for its more complete profile. I'm not sure that this showed as funky as it did last time, but I've always been a fan of the Muncagota/Moccagatta bottling. My 1st, group's 11th (in fact, this was a very polarizing wine, with multiple first and last place votes).
