Monday, April 10, 2017 - Decanted two hours; moderate sediment. Deep ruby color. Red cherries, roses and vanilla on a somewhat subdued nose. Rich, full-bodied, slightly-jammy dark fruit on the palate with quite lively acids and subdued tannins. Very long finish. Probably will improve with more age. No change on day two. Nice wine, but at $80+, it's overpriced.
